Some trips you book. This one you apply for.
This September, our founder Max is personally hosting a single, one-off sailing week through the Greek Cyclades — and there are just a handful of cabins aboard. Seven days, seven landfalls, one private cabin, and a Michelin-starred pedigree in the galley. It is the most exclusive thing Sail Per Cabin has ever put to sea, and once these cabins are gone, they’re gone.

Seven Days, Seven Greek Landfalls
The route reads like a private tour of the Aegean’s finest, sailing from Athens out into the Cyclades and back:
Day 1 — Athens to Cape Sounio. We slip out of Athens and set course for Cape Sounio, dropping anchor beneath the marble columns of the Temple of Poseidon — 2,500 years old, glowing gold as the sun goes down. A first evening that sets the tone for the week.
Day 2 — Kythnos. A quiet, rugged island of hidden coves and natural thermal springs, far from the tourist trail. We’ll moor near sandbar beaches you can walk out to across turquoise shallows.
Day 3 — Sifnos. The gastronomic heart of the Cyclades, famed for its culinary heritage, whitewashed villages and the little blue-domed church of the Seven Martyrs ringed by emerald water.
Day 4 — Milos. The volcanic showpiece: the lunar-white cliffs of Sarakiniko, sea caves at Kleftiko, and over seventy beaches scattered in red, pink and gold.
Day 5 — Serifos. One of the Cyclades’ best-kept secrets — a dramatic hilltop Chora tumbling down to a sweep of quiet beaches, bougainvillea and Aegean views at every turn.
Day 6 — Kea. Green, spring-fed and closest to Athens yet somehow the least discovered — secluded anchorages, ancient trails and the enormous smiling stone Lion of Kea carved into the hillside in the 6th century BC.
Day 7 — Return to Athens. A final Aegean passage back to port, with the Acropolis waiting for anyone who wants to round off the week where Western civilisation began.
A Michelin-Starred Pedigree in the Galley
Dinner, on this trip, is not an afterthought. Your onboard chef is Niall Lawson, trained at Mountain — the one-Michelin-starred London restaurant — the sort of kitchen pedigree you’d normally travel a long way and book months ahead to experience. Here, it comes to you, plated in the cockpit as the sun sinks into the Aegean, paired with Greek island produce bought fresh off the quay that morning. It is, frankly, worth the trip on its own.
Hosted Personally by Our Founder
What makes this week genuinely rare is who’s running it. Max, the founder of Sail Per Cabin and a working captain with years on the water, is hosting this trip in person — start to finish. He’s spent years building a company around one idea: that guests should be genuinely looked after, not processed. This is a man who cares, perhaps more than is reasonable, about whether your week is exceptional — and he’ll be aboard the whole time making sure it is. You won’t be a booking reference on this trip. You’ll be his guest.
One Private Cabin. Everything Taken Care Of.
As with every Sail Per Cabin trip, you book a single private cabin rather than the whole yacht — so there’s no group to assemble and no five-figure commitment. You simply claim your cabin and turn up. The week is all-inclusive at $5,500 per cabin (that’s for two sharing), covering your cabin, the captain, the Michelin-trained chef, all your meals and the sailing itself. The only extras are your flights and the customary crew gratuity of 15–20%. Everything else — the route, the logistics, the finer details — is handled for you.

Only a Few Cabins. One Departure.
This isn’t a weekly departure or a repeating schedule. It’s a single, one-off week — 19th to 26th September 2026 — with only a small number of cabins aboard, and limited cabins remain. When they’re taken, that’s the end of it. A trip like this, hosted personally, with a chef of this calibre, on a route this good, doesn’t come around often — and it won’t be repeated.
Apply for Your Cabin
This is an application, not a checkout — we’re keeping this group small and the experience special. If a week of hidden Greek islands, world-class food and personal hosting sounds like your kind of trip, register your interest now, before the last cabins go.
