We act as a lead generation and charter brokerage support business for charter companies, connecting customers to trusted third-party yacht operators and partners. We do not operate the yachts directly.

For the purposes of the UK GDPR, we are generally a Data Controller for the data we collect from you, and in some cases may act as a Data Processor when we process enquiries on behalf of our partners.

2. What Information We Collect

Trip details: Number of cabins requested, preferred travel month or week, flexibility, preferred operator, cabin or boat preference, and other booking-related preferences you provide.

Marketing consent: Your preferences for receiving email and/or SMS marketing.

Communication data: Messages, replies, call notes, customer service history, and where applicable, call recordings and transcripts.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, UTM parameters, click events, page activity, and session duration.

Third-party data: If you enquire via a partner site, ad platform, or social platform, they may pass your information to us under their own privacy policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Match you with yacht operators and forward your details so they can contact you directly regarding availability, pricing, and booking.

  • Send transactional messages about your enquiry or booking.

  • Send marketing communications, where permitted and where you have consented where required.

  • Analyse how visitors use our site, funnels, and campaigns to improve our services and marketing.

  • Operate and improve our internal systems, customer support, and booking workflows.

  • Comply with legal requirements and prevent fraud or misuse.

4. Call Recordings, Transcripts, and AI-Related Use

Where calls are made or received through Sail Per Cabin systems or phone numbers used for Sail Per Cabin leads, those calls may be recorded and transcribed.

We may use call recordings and transcripts for:

  • quality assurance

  • training

  • record-keeping

  • customer service review

  • dispute handling

  • process improvement

  • internal analysis

  • developing, testing, improving, or training internal automation, support tools, analytics systems, or AI-assisted systems used in our business

Partner yacht operators for the purpose of providing quotes, confirming bookings, holding availability, and contacting you regarding your enquiry.

Marketing and analytics providers such as Meta, TikTok, Google, and similar providers, to measure and improve campaign performance.

Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as CRM providers, hosting providers, telephony providers, automation tools, transcription providers, and storage providers.

We require partners and service providers to handle your data in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

SMS consent note: Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This does not prevent sharing with aggregators, messaging providers, customer service subcontractors, or service providers supporting messaging and system operations on our behalf.
